Candidate Statement

I LOVE MATH! I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity in my current role to share my love of math daily with students, teachers, and administrators within my school district. Sometimes I also just share with random folks I meet at the grocery store!! I appreciate the support that the Georgia Council of Teachers of Mathematics has provided to me as a member since I was a preservice teacher at the University of Georgia. I am hopeful as the organization continues to grow that we continue to be open to the needs of our members and through the role of advocacy, provide positive outreach opportunities for each of our communities.
